Architecture of Hierarchical Stellar Systems and Their Formation

چکیده
Accumulation of new data on stellar hierarchical systems and the progress in numerical simulations their formation open door to genetic classification these systems, where properties a certain group (family) objects are tentatively related mechanisms early evolution. A short review structure statistical trends known hierarchies is given. Like binaries, they can be formed by disk core fragmentation events happening sequentially or simultaneously followed evolution masses orbits driven continuing accretion gas dynamical interactions between stars. Several basic scenarios proposed associated qualitatively with architecture real although quantitative predictions for still pending. The general trend increasing orbit alignment decreasing system size points critical role accretion-driven migration, which also explains typically comparable stars belonging same system. some bears imprints chaotic interactions. Characteristic features each family illustrated several systems.

Formation of Small and Large Stellar Systems
Current evidence indicates that stars form in a hierarchy of groupings of various sizes, within which binary systems stand out as distinct tightly bound units. The distribution of separations of binaries resembles the internal spatial distributions of stars in larger systems, including massive young star clusters and elliptical galaxies, and this suggests that similar mechanisms may be involved...
متن کاملHierarchical Galaxy Formation and Substructure in the Galaxy’s Stellar Halo
We develop an explicit model for the formation of the stellar halo from tidally disrupted, accreted dwarf satellites in the cold dark matter (CDM) framework, focusing on predictions testable with the Sloan Digital Sky Survey (SDSS) and other wide-field surveys. Subhalo accretion and orbital evolution are calculated using a semi-analytic approach based on the extended Press-Schechter formalism. ...
متن کاملsimulation and experimental studies for prediction mineral scale formation in oil field during mixing of injection and formation water
abstract: mineral scaling in oil and gas production equipment is one of the most important problem that occurs while water injection and it has been recognized to be a major operational problem. the incompatibility between injected and formation waters may result in inorganic scale precipitation in the equipment and reservoir and then reduction of oil production rate and water injection rate. ...
